My room is a de luxe room.
With a “professional” shrine.
It’s clean and full of light. And it has a private rest room! Absolutely rare in a Tibetan monastery!
But the bed is Tibetan style. Hard mattress and, on top, a Tibetan carpet. In the cupboard there are blankets.
I have decided to go with this. Not to buy bedsheets.
The carpet is in pure wool, a bit itchy. But it’s healthy, specially during the rainy season. I will shake it every few days and once in a while I will clean it with bicarbonate.
I want to break up my mental habits. The bed can be part of that.
Sometimes even small things matter.
