The complex of "I am the best" of many Westerners is quite annoying.
It is not that Western society is a balanced, happy society in which people are happy and at ease. If I have to look at the data projections on psychiatric drug use, I would see the emergence of an unhappy society.
Yet plenty of people still think (and it's a particularly insidious form of racism) that we're the best and that everyone should fit our standards.
Like the prejudice against the fact that ours is a Buddhist monastic school.
People from time to time, accuse us of "indoctrinating" children, which, by the way, is forbidden in Buddhism.
Western secularism is perfect, everything else is wrong.
Don't these people realize how arrogant this statement is?
Usually, they are the same people who talk about an inclusive society and respect for diversity.
Contradictions upon contradictions.
In a Buddhist society, Buddhist families should forget their identity because we Westerners "know it better". They should, what an ugly word, conform. Can you explain to me where is the respect for diversity in these positions?
What hypocrisy!
By the way, I don't ask anything for myself, but if you like to read my posts, think about a donation to my monastery :) here is the link with the donation page. https://www.peoplesfundraising.com/donation/suncave-monastery
ITALIANO
